Conferenza sull'accesso alla giustizia per le vittime di violazioni di diritti umani compiute dalle imprese - Milano, 3 Novembre 2016 - Conference on access to justice for victims of corporate-related human rights violations, Milan November 3, 2016
Si terrà il 3 novembre p.v. presso l'Aula Magna E. Alessandrini - G. Galli del Tribunale di Milano dalle ore 14.30 alle ore 18 la Conferenza "ACCESSO ALLA GIUSTIZIA PER LE VITTIME DI VIOLAZIONI DEI DIRITTI UMANI DA PARTE DELLE IMPRESE MULTINAZIONALI. L'ESERCIZIO EXTRATERRITORIALE DELLA GIURISDIZIONE CIVILE".
L'evento - organizzato dal Network 'Human Rights International Corner' e dalla Scuola Superiore della Magistratura in collaborazione con l'Università degli Studi di Milano - è la prima iniziativa in Italia sul tema e vedrà la partecipazione di avvocati, accademici ed esperti del settore, sia italiani che stranieri. Inoltre, il Convegno si inserisce nel quadro di quanto previsto dalla Bozza del Piano di Azione Nazionale Impresa e Diritti Umani 2016-2020 (ancora in consultazione pubblica) in merito all'attivazione di corsi di formazione per giudici ed avvocati sul tema, anche in collaborazione con l'Ordine Forense.

The conference "ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS OF CORPORATE-RELATED HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS. EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION IN CIVIL LITIGATION" will take place at the Main Hall of the Court of Milan (Italy) on November 3, 2016. at 2.30 pm.
The event - jointly organized by the Human Rights International Corner and “Scuola Superiore della Magistratura” (SSM) in collaboration with the University of Milan, Jean Monet Course in EU Law on Business and Human Rights - could be considered as the first initiative following the provisions of the draft Italian National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (currently in public consultation) regarding the needed support to "training courses for judges and lawyers on the legal implications of business and human rights".
